Judy and Jason Stalcup both had birthdays this past weekend, so they got 2 cabins at Doublehead Resort near Flo-town, and we had it all day Saturday, sat. night, and Sunday. Jeff brought the boys fishing poles, I gathered the swim gear, and Judy rented wave runners for Saturday. It was great fun!! Oh, yeah, we had a water balloon fight, too with a few minor bumps and bruises ;)...The major bumps and bruises where a result of a waverunner crash-ouch!!! The Jasons had a crash!!
Well, a few fish where caught (on our own personal pier)and Josh impressed grandaddy with his catch (see pic). On Saturday night we had yummy shrimp, potatoes, and corn and birthday cake.
The boys said they loved all of it, but especially the thrill of "driving" the waverunners with Daddy and swimming in the pool. Jason, Leah, and Rivers stayed in the same house as we did, so there was much craziness and excitement by the youngest 3 on Sunday morning- Rivers got to experience how excited Seth and Jacob get anytime someone wakes up- its pretty cute, really.
